Hey Everyone!
Well, we've been super busy lately!! This past weekend we were on the go...non-stop!! Friday night we went out to dinner at Kelseys. It is one of the new accounts that SYSCO has, so we wanted to help out a customer. While there, Hannah discovered that she liked pulled-pork! It is always so nice to see her try new things...and like them!!!
Saturday, I went out with 4 of my knitting buddies on a Yarn Crawl. It was so much fun!!! We went to four different yarn shops here in the city, and had a wonderful lunch at Fiore. It was so nice to go out with people who had similar interests. All of the ladies who went also knit blankets for the WCOBB, so we spent lots of time talking about the blankets and ideas for future ones. While I was gone, Craig and Hannah ran lots of errands and did lots of playing!
Saturday night Craig and I went to a Hitmen hockey game. They are the WHL hockey team here in town. Craig had tickets for the SYSCO box, so we watched the game in style. Unfortunately we lost, but it was still a great game. Hannah stayed home with our friend Joanne, and Joanne's daughter and grand daughter stopped over to play for a bit.
Sunday we got up and after debating for a little while what to make for breakfast, we decided to go out. There aren't too many options for breakfast around our house, so we went with the old standby...Tim Hortons. Hannah was all excited to go out and pigged out on timbits, my muffin, and Craig's bagel. She really thought she was a big kid!
Sunday afternoon we took Hannah to her first professional sporting event. Craig had tickets to the Roughnecks lacrosse game...again in the box. We weren't sure how Hannah would do, but figured that at least she would be contained in the box. She loved the game!!! She watched most of it and when she lost interest, she sat on the floor and colored. I think the music and crowd really kept her entertained. It was a great game, and we won!!!! I still cannot believe that Hannah made it through 2 1/2 hours without getting antsy!!
While at the game, we decided to walk around a bit to stretch our legs. Down on the concourse, they were taking people's photos with the real Olympic torch for the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. We couldn't pass the opportunity up, so we got two photos taken...

I don't envy the carriers who have to run with that thing...it is fairly heavy.
Monday morning Hannah had her music class. She is getting so into this class! As soon as she walks in the room, she always say, "Hello Teacher Anna...how are you??" and she is great about saying her "Please" and "Thank yous". She is also starting to remember many of the songs from week to week. It is funny...the class is only 40 minutes, but she is non-stop the entire time!! She usually starts to crash on the way home.
Last night we ate an early dinner and went to watch Craig play softball. This is his second year on the SYSCO team. They have lots of fun, and it is great for him to get involved. Hannah and I didn't stay too long at the game since it was super windy, but while we were there, she made friends with one of the little babies, and a 6 year old boy, Lucas. She and Lucas played tag and peek-a-boo for a while...just long enough to wear her out! By the way, Craig's team won both games in their double header...woohoo!!!!
So, that's how we spent the past few days. I have some photos of the games, etc. but I haven't taken them off my camera card yet. If any of them look decent, I'll be sure to post them.
Have a great week everyone!!!!
Love,
Sharon
